This course will provide students with a thorough understanding of Vietnam business, culture, and opportunities. Students will have an opportunity to lớn apply their learning from their Master’s courses & related studies as well as working experience in marketing, industry analysis, và international business to engage in a company specific consulting project in a cross-cultural environment.

The course will be organized in a Consultative format. Students will work under faculty mentorship prior lớn travel with their host clients lớn address a specific issue the client is facing. Prior to arriving in Vietnam, students will conduct desk research in Washington, D.C. And will discuss issues with the client company over the phone and emails. While on site, students will meet with the client và present their findings. Information gained through direct immersion is used to lớn redraft or strengthen the final deliverable to lớn the client. In addition, students will also conduct site visits with relevant companies.

Eligibility

This program is open to graduate students và qualified undergraduate students.

Academic Credit

3 credits are awarded for successful completion of IBUS 6297.This program fulfills general elective credit for Master's và MBA programs.Students may petition lớn have study away courses count towards Graduate School of Business Certificates or other Master's degree requirements by speaking with their academic advisor.
